To meet this commitment and to help ease your mind during this uncertain time, PagoFX is waiving fees on international money transfers from the UK until the 16th of September 2020.
While staying at home is helping us fight the virus as a society, many people have families, friends, colleagues and organisations they need to support in other countries. Some of us are helping with unexpected expenses like accommodation, paying for travel fares home, helping out with essentials for those who are unable to work, transferring money to employees and companies or donating to charities that support communities. However you help the people that matter most to you, PagoFX by Santander offers a secure, easy way to send money from the UK to the US, the eurozone, Poland, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, with more currencies coming soon.
Fees waived for international money transfers from the UK
If you are a resident in the UK, PagoFX allows you to send money abroad at a real-time exchange rate, and until 16th September you won’t pay any fees on transfers up to 3,000 GBP per user *. Standard fees will apply thereafter. Our standard low-cost fee for transferring money to the eurozone, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and the Czech Republic is 0.70% of the send amount. For transfers to the US, Poland, Denmark Romania and Hungary, the fee is 0.80% of sent amount; 1% for Croatia; 1.2% for Turkey; 1.5% for Israel; and 1.8% for Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The PagoFX app or website allows you to quickly and easily send money abroad using any UK debit card. We will always show you exactly how much you are paying and how much your recipient will receive before you press send – and you can have the confidence you’re getting the most up-to-date real-time exchange rate available.
Backed by Santander, open to everyone
Being backed by Santander means that everyone, no matter who you bank with, can send money abroad with confidence that comes from dealing with a company backed by Santander.
PagoFX is regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an authorised payment institution. This means funds sent to us for a money transfer are safeguarded until the associated payment has been sent, and you are fully protected in the case of defective execution of any payment.

We are prepared if anything changes
Whilst PagoFX is not anticipating any disruption to our service we will still closely monitor the situation. We continue to work closely with the FCA and other regulators to ensure that our activities stay in line with current official guidance on COVID-19.
