You can now send money to India with PagoFX
With travel restrictions largely still in place, the world can feel bigger than it normally does when we’re away from family and friends at some of the most important times of the year.
That’s why we’re working hard at PagoFX to ensure you can still support the businesses and people who matter the most to you, and from today these include those with bank accounts in India.
For too long, it’s been time-consuming and expensive to send money to India from the UK. But from today, you can take advantage of PagoFX’s fast, low-cost and secure international money transfers when sending GBP to INR, with the peace of mind and security that comes with the backing of Santander.
“Since PagoFX launched in the UK in April, we’ve received many requests from British Indians and expats seeking an easy, secure and great value way to send money home to India,” says PagoFX chief executive Cedric Menager.
“Today, I’m happy to say we’ve achieved this, and invite anyone looking to send money to India, whether you’re a Santander UK customer or not, to try our service and see the difference PagoFX can make when you’re sending your money to India.”
For a low fee of 0.8%, and the real-time mid-market exchange rate at the time of your transfer, your recipient in India can get their money the very next day provided you make your transfer by 8pm GMT the night before.
Plus, first-time PagoFX customers can send up to £1,000 with no fees by taking advantage of our no-fee programme, which runs until 15 January 2021 (terms apply). It’s our way of helping our customers support those who matter to them, whether you’re paying a bill overseas, supporting parents or children back home, or just want to make someone’s day a little brighter.
India is the latest country to be added to PagoFX’s growing list of destinations you can send money to from the UK, many added since our April launch. With PagoFX, you can now send money quickly, at low cost and with confidence to more than 40 countries, making our reach truly global. Many more are planned before the year ends.
